Types of Lets

Most high street letting agents including ourselves provide a standard tenancy agreement on Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST). We also offer alternative types of tenancy agreements to our tenants and landlords, if you are looking to rent less than 12 months or looking for a flatshare.

Assured Shorthold Tenancy

Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) guarentees tenancy for a fixed period of time, minimum term 12 months. This is the preference for most tenants and landlords as this provides security and stabilty for both landlord and tenant for the duration of the tenancy.

Short Let

Short lets can range from a 7 day to 30 day term of tenancy. This can be a room or an entire house or flat and normally comes furnished. Contracts are extendable provided the landlord is notifed within the notice period however extensions are granted at the landlords discretion. Notice period for such a let is 14 days for either party.

Flateshares & Room Lets
